As part of the Buying & Planning team at rue21, you’ll set new trends and choose fashions that make people feel good. We’re all about bringing the latest fashion trends to our stores, as quickly as possible. It’s what our customers count on — and it’s where you come in:
Buying: Select the products, negotiate the price and make purchasing decisions for rue21. We have many categories for you to choose from: girls, girls plus, guys, shoes and accessories.
Planning: Work with our teams to develop and review assortment plans, manage OpenToBuy strategies and identify risks and opportunities that will help maximize our profitability.
Merchandise Allocation: Make sure we have the right amount of inventory in each store, across several categories of product, to support their sales and merchandising needs.
Our Buying & Planning team is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but some team members also use our Buying office in New York City.
